For the first time, this definitive collection of Atlantic salmon flies is being offered for sale. These flies have been painstakingly assembled over the past several decades by Martin I. Boucher (a.k.a. Lord of the Flies). Represented in the collection are Atlantic salmon flies tied by most of the finest contemporary tiers in Europe and North America (see list of tiers). Practically every style and type of salmon fly is present in the collection in a multitude of patterns and sizes.

While the core of the collection is hairwing Atlantic salmon flies, there are also featherwings, buckbugs, dry flies, streamers, marabous, rabbit strip patterns, and many more styles and types that have proved effective over the past 30 years. The majority of these flies were tied to be fished, but the sheer artistry of the men who tied them makes all these flies attractive display objects as well.

The collection is being offered in whole, with the intention of keeping it together for historical reasons. However, offers for portions of the collection will be considered on a case-by-case basis provided the basic theme of the collection is not adversely affected. This will allow interested parties to target a specific tier's work, or a particular type of fly that they may wish to amass on an exclusive basis.

The photographs accompanying this offer on the web site show only a small percentage of the actual collection, both in terms of the number of flies available and the multitude of tiers represented.
